Close to airport, sure. Nice, well maybe awhile back. Tub was rusted, room worn, hallways tired. It was Ok for an early flight out, but otherwise forget it.

Stayed after arriving at midnight on BA flight. Good clean room, excellent buffet breakfast bearing in mind cost of hotel). Also stayed on leaving at 8.30 flight. Hotel shuffle bus is free, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Had dinner the night before we left and it was ok, sufficient before we went to bed. This is not a place to stay long term although no reason why not as they apparently have a free shuttle bus to downtown. I'd recommend it for cheap accommodation with swimming pool and airport on the doorstep. Air conditioning didn't seem to be very good. Beds are very soft!

We had to sleep here for one night after Egyptair crazy schedules and cancellations have made us lose our connection to Paris. The tranportation from the airport was a joke, in a hotel private little bus overcrowded with so many people and bags that we had to put our luggage through the bus windows in a kind of desperate and very sweaty manner. Since the hotel was provided by Egyptair, we expected very little, but when we arrived, the pleasant looking lobby made us believe it would be a quiet and comfortable night to recover from the very bad airport day we had been through! We were very wrong: the staff was as cold as ice, the room was old, dirty and dark, with a strange credit card safe that we did not dare to use. The bathroom had lots of mold and old, cheap plastic curtains in the shower. There were strange guests around and someone tried to enter our room in the middle of the night! The "complimentary" dinner and breakfast buffet were horrible too! Just to sum it up: a nigthmare provided by Egyptair and Iberotel and their sad association!

The night we stayed it was busier than usual with a large contingent of people from Africa(Nigeria, to be precise) and most of them were treated poorly.
The hotel manager showed no desire to placate the situation and when asked for a compliant form, disappeared and didn't show up for a good 30 min and acted like nothing happened.

The dinner menu is lousy.

The only saving grace is the hotel is closer to the airport but the attitude of the staff at the reception to the concierge makes you want to run from them!
