This is the best place u can stay in Cairo as it is nearest to airport. The famous Pyramids are around a one and a half drive from the hotel. The hotel itself can arrange you transport if you need. The ambiance is excellent with neatly maintained rooms. The bar is near the main reception and serves you with excellent quality liquors. The swimming pool is well maintained and there is special places for kids to play. There is a casino inside the hotel but i didn't visit it. The hotel has regular transportation to and from the airport. The rates are also not very high and is normal for its facilities.

Building work including the use of hammer and bolster and hammer action drill on the floor above starting from 07:50 lasting all day.
I have colleagues staying here too that all agree the rooms are filthy, mine certainly has never seen a hoover let alone had its tiles cleaned!
Mosquitoes come and go as they please through my window that does not shut. I'm like a fast food fly through restaurant for the little blighters.
House keeping staff have a cleaning cupboard opposite my room and congregate there from 0800 telling clearly very funny stories to each other just to make absolutely certain that no sleeping is done past 8am.
Breakfast however is a delight, huge variety, clean and well prepared. No Delhi belly here.....

This hotel was close to airport; which was nice after being on a flight for 10 hours. The room was just O.K because the Hotel is old. Did find the buffet for dinner was good, along with the breakfast. It must be the place for weddings, because they had one every night.

I had a transit night to spent in Cairo in November 2011 and Egypt Air put me here. Large lobby, slow check-in process, very good arab dinner buffet, spacious room - as I stayed there for free I have nothing to complain. Very close to airport, which was convinient. As I don't know the rates, I can't say anything about the value.
