“Competitive airport hotel for Heliopolis business”

Decent airport hotel option with slight price edge on Heliopolis five-star competition; complimentary cable internet in room; complimentary instant coffee/tea with kettle in room; solid bed albeit tired sheets; strong hot shower; plentiful breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order; complimentary airport shuttle; plentiful taxis to flag on road in/out of airport for short commute to Heliopolis but takes an hour to downtown Cairo.

Room Tip: Request third floor for non-smoking rooms.

“Good location in case of emergency”

This hotel was the best option as my flight was canceled. I've been greeted by friendly staff.
Despite no smoking signs placed on the room door, inside was a heavy tobacco smell impregnated on the walls, curtains, et ceteras.
Basic room but Internet was available, free of charge.
The bed linen color was between white and yellow suggesting a long time use, some bleach could help. Lot of stains on the room carpet and sofa cushions.
Phonic insulation very poor, can easily hear the TV set or conversation in the neighboring rooms. Good enough breakfast, friendly staff.

“Fair price fair service”

Just 2 minutes from the international airport. Good place when your plane leaves early the next day. Even from Cairo center it may take you 2 hours to get to the airport. So a stay one night before is recommendable. Novotel is well situated, reasonable but clean rooms with internet. Buffet breakfast is included, which is good.

“No frills Airport Accommodation”

I stayed here for one night while transferring through Cairo. Very basic rooms. A quick and easy shuttle ride to the terminal. It could definitely use a remodel.
