I stayed in Novotel el Borg from 21/01 till 25/01, in a room on the sixth floor with a Nile view (Very cheap). It was a bit noisy because of traffic and the prayers at 5 am. The location is good. It has a nice roof top terrace. Unfortunately the hotel does not serve alcohol, but one can order for example beer by telephone from a liquor store "drinkies" phone. 193300.

On the second day of my stay I noticed one of my ties was missing. I reported the missing tie and asked for a statement in order to claim the lost tie from my insurance. I was promised I would get a statement, several times, unfortunately on the day of my departure, the manager told me he would not issue a statement because this was against their policy. Very disappointing. Advice to keep you suitcase locked at all times.

Stayed three nights this week and had a wonderful time. Rooms excellent,very clean,fantastic comfy beds and pillows infact I had the best nights sleeps in a long time! We were on 7th floor with city view and it was awesome! Great location and walking distance to cairo nightlife Blue Nile etc. Definitley go back there again!!
