Going to Seoul with 3 collogues for a short holiday before a conference, it was difficult to find accommodation for the 4 of us while keeping the price low. We were lucky to find this place! It's centred in the Gangnam area about 2 minutes' walk from exits 5 and 6 of Gangnam subway station. Designed for longer stays, this hotel offers more conventional rooms and apartments at very low prices. We opted for a 2-bedroom apartment for 4. Most of these comprise one double and two single beds, but they arranged for us to have 4 singles. The breakfast was basic but there was enough to keep us going: both western and Korean dishes. Although you shouldn't expect the same level of service of many chain hotels, this really is an ideal hotel for families taking a break in Seoul or for groups of friends sharing.
What we liked:
• The sheer amount of space we got for the low price.
• The kitchen space and availability of a washing machine.
• The "steam room" option in the shower (although we didn't use it).
• The breakfast being included.
• The availability of a fitness centre.
• Internet being included.
• The air conditioning.
• Proximity to transport and shopping.
• The staff's English was excellent.
What we disliked:
• The décor needs updating. There were lots of marks on the walls and ceiling. The shower door was also poorly attached.
• The lifts: the building has ~24 floors and two very slow lifts, which seemed to be crowded most of the time (note that pressing the button for your floor a second time cancels it!).
• The fitness centre wasn't kept as clean as it should have been.
• The beds were a little hard.
