I was only in Seoul for an exhibition at Coex and business meetings over 4 days, but I can see how the Oakwood would be ideal for longterm business stays. Having booked a deluxe studio, I was surprised to be upgraded to a one bedroom suite, complete with full kitchen, 1.5 bath, living and dining areas... unnecessary for my short stay, but very spacious and comfortable nonetheless. Food in Korea is extremely inexpensive except for western-style breakfasts, so you can probably justify any additional cost over a traditional hotel room by serving your own cereal in the morning.

The Oakwood is connected by underground mall (virtually a series of interconnected food courts) to the Coex exhibition hall, which made the morning commute about a 5 minute walk.

Service was great, from answering small questions, a late checkout and (of course) the free upgrade. I was unable to locate free WiFi service in the room, but there is extremely fast free wired service. I travel with a wireless router to create my own private WAN, which connected with no problems.

I expect to come back next year and will definitely be staying at the Oakwood Premier again.

I have stayed at the Grand Intercontinental (5-minute walk from Oakwood) on my previous visits to Seoul. I was unable to get a booking there this time and our local business office recommended staying at the Oakwood Premier instead. It was a great experience and a better value compared with the Grand Intercontinental. It is a 2-minute walk from the City Air Terminal where the limousine bus from Incheon airport drops you off.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms - these are actually serviced apartments with a living area, kitchen, two bathrooms and a bedroom. Each room has a washer, two flat screen TVs, free internet access, huge bathroom with shower/steam. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the 5th floor and was quite decent. Security was also tight as access to elevators is granted with your room key only.

The hotel is connected to the Coex mall where you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores to buy essentials, snacks, etc.

This is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it, especially for longer stays.

Hotel is located in a very lively area called COEX. There are 3 malls right under and next door to the hotel, not to mention a major subway station. The hotel has a fully equipped kitchen (with even salt and pepper!), a full size fridge, a washer and drier, microwave, DVD player, entertainment center, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, scale, hair drier, iron machine and ironing board, and even a privat Sauna for the upscale 2 bedrooms. There is much attention to detail in this hotel and too many amenities to list here. To me the hotel is better than having an apartment if the price is not the a major issue and in fact many expat families and business people call it home.

Very large room, great for a family. The room has everything you need - our room even had a washer/dryer. We only stayed 3 nights and paid a steep price, but it was ok considering the size. They gym is good, and location is good too. Airport limo bus drops off at the City Air Terminal, and 5 minutes walk away. Lots of restaurants across the street and all around the area. Coex Mall also right beside. Great aquarium for the kids. Subway close by as well.
My only complaint was the breakfast. Not good at all - average quality, few choices...more like a 2 star hotel breakfast. After the first day, we didn't bother going back.
