“Decent hotel - but the smoking was brutal”

We stayed here a few different nights over a 3 week period in Georgia. The first time we came (arriving at 3:30 am) was a bit disappointing. There was only one towel in the washroom, there were "pot holes" in the floor, under the carpet, and the AC did not work well. The breakfast was spartan - although we did arrive just at the end of breakfast time. The other two times were quite good. The rooms were nice and clean, the AC worked perfectly, it was quiet, and the front desk was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast varied from day to day - sometimes there was fresh fruit, yoghurt and hard boiled eggs. Other times it was just a big plate of meat and cheese with some chewy bread. But on the good days, it was more than adequate - nothing special, but acceptable. My only real complaint is the amount of smoking on the part of the staff. Every time we stepped out of our rooms we nearly choked to death. There was constant smoking in the lobby and it filtered up several flights of stairs. Not much you can do about it in a country like Georgia where anti-smoking laws are unheard of, but it certainly made it difficult for someone with asthma. Other than that, I thought it was a nice, clean and quiet hotel, with good service. The area was decent - just off of Rustaveli avenue, and it took about 20 minutes to walk to Old Tbilisi, or about 5 minutes by taxi. An awesome city to see - and a good hotel in which to base yourself.

“A bit of old Sviet style.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2010

The hotel is in general OK, built in the beginning of the 1990th, just after the independance of Georgia. Interesting is the pool on the five th floor next to the Breakfast room. Rooms are middle standard, clean, with full air condition. Breakfast is middel standard, but OK, you will not eat to much for Breakfast when you had a Georgian dinner. Good thing is that you can arrive at any time by night. Look at the timetable of flights to Tbilisi.

“Nice, modern hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2010

I was here for a conference and it was really quite comfortable. Walking distance to many things. The rooms were large and quite comfortable. The staff was responsive when something went wrong. The restaurant was fine, and they have other amenities such as a workout room with treadmills, a bike, weight machines, etc. and wireless and cable internet.

“good”

I have stayed in Hotel Primavera in February 2010. This hotel is delight. It is run with one purpose to give its guests as comfortable and easy a visit to Tbilisi as possible. The room I had was large and comfortable. Everything worked, including 24 hour Wi-Fi. The room was cleaned every day. The air conditioning was marvelous and essential in steamy Tbilisi.
The staff were very friendly, positive and accommodating and couldn't do enough to help. They have Swedish breakfast and the hotel rate was including it. . Great value for money. According to my advice you should visit this hotel in Tbilisi.

Another trip full of pleasent surprises. These guys are always doing their best. I love their clean and comfy rooms, but my favorite is their beds and linen. Go and check yourself.
