“Good business hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Stayed for 5 nights in total. It is a nice small hotel in one of the better suburbs of the city. Be mindful it is not really within walking distance of the city centre for tourists. Bus services on an adjacent street are regular and cheap though. Our room was large and had a very good bathroom. The furniture was a little cheap but functional. There are about 5 rooms per floor over 3 floors. Each floor has a large open plan area where some have business meetings and others play the piano or chat. Breakfast is served in the basement and is mainly local food with some basic western fare. The English of the reception staff was fine and they were helpful and accommodating. We left our bag with them one night when we went on a trip. We paid $100 per night, oddly they want to be paid in dollars. The hotel seems to be completely empty at weekends so you might be able to haggle a better rate then.

Room Tip: There are a few rooms off the reception that I suspect are nosier, avoid. Haggle if you are staying...

“Couldn't have been more hospitable or helpful - wonderful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a longer trip around Georgia/Armenia. Without doubt, the staff were the most helpful, nicest and informative people we encountered on our trip. From helping us get a doctor (small incident with a taxi that meant a few stitches were required), to holding onto our luggage while we travelled to Mt. Kazbegi and organising a tour there, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We came back and stayed for a half day rate (50/usd) as our flight was at 4am, so it meant we could relax/shower/rest before our trip home......the rooms were lovely, and fully air conditioned - it was 44C while we were there, so this was very necessary. Not sure if there was internet/wifi available, but you could log on to the reception computer at any time. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and set us up for long days discovering Tbilisi. Yes, the hotel is about a mile from the centre, but a nice stroll in during the evening, then a short taxi ride home.....and is surrounded by some lovely little coffee shops/restaurants. All staff spoke excellent English, and couldn't have been more obliging - A great city, and we'll be back for sure.....if only to go back to the Irish Bar (The Hangar Bar) beside the doll museum, such fun!

“Nice small hotel, nice staff with 1 exception..”

The hotel is very small but nice. There is wifi free of charge. There is small breakfast room but it is accessible at any time 24/7 and you can help yourself with tea/coffee or some fruits/ buscuits. It is located in quite area near to the central streets through. The staff was great, but the elder lady on duty the night before I leave was very unflexible and unpolite and unfriendly..
