My partner and I stayed here over the christmas period for 4 nights. I found this place about 5 years ago when we came here for lunch. At that time I vowed to return and stay in one of the beach front cottages.
We arrived on Christmas eve, and were met at the airport and taken to the resort via the local supermaket for some room supplies. This is a great idea as the location is a good 25 minute drive to town, on some rather bumpy roads. Once you are at the resort, and experience the ambience, the great food and service, and the solitude, you won't really want to travel too far.
The meals at the restaurant are superb, and the outlook over the ocean at sunset is just magic. The bungalows are tastefully decorated, and spacious, the outdoor bathrooms have been recently renovated. It is very quiet, so take some good books and get ready to unwind.
The beach is a mixture of sand and coral, so take those reef shoes along, there is a great swimming spot about 20 minutes walk east of the resort, right at the end of the beach, deep water and protected.
The only thing I would suggest is to take one of those plug in mosquito repellants for the evenings in your cabin. There are nets provided over the bed.
I would thoroughly recommend this resort for couples/honeymooners/ and those wanting to unwind. We certainly did.
