“Great Hotel”

This hotel is great for the money. They have a shuttle that will bring you into Koror and will drop you off at the local dive shops. They will also work with you to get a rental car dropped off at the hotel. It's around $40 us dollars a day. You can drive around the island and see the famous waterfall and stone monoliths. This is my 3rd time to Palau have stayed at Airai View / now Airai Water Paradise all times.

Great staff and air conditioning in the room make Palau more enjoyable!

“Great hotel with excellent services”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

I like the ocean view outside the window of hotel room. Every waiters and waitresses would give us big smiles which let us feel warm and so friendly. Some traditional food was cooked with coconut which tasted yummy. Briefly speaking, I would love to visit Airai Water Paradise Hotel once again in the near future and recommend it to my friends.

“Highly Recommeded! Quite Valuable!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2011

This is the second time I visit Palau, and the first time I stay at Airai Water Paradise Hotel. The first impression is not really stunned since it is pretty old-fashioned. However, all our group members (we are a group of retired teachers) enjoy the relaxing atmosphere a lot! We stay in 4 Standard rooms. Clean, bright and the lush jungle view outside the window is facinated.
The breakfast is nice and we especially admire their waiters' greeting in different languages (Japanese, Mandarin..and of course, English). During my stay there, I can feel that almost every tourist regard this place as home.

“a good hotel at a good price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2010

The hotel is some ways (15 min drive) out of Koror center but fairly close to the airport. But there is a shuttle for $5/person which one can take to the town center and the distance is a non-issue if you are renting a car; just dont count on walking or biking it (some hills on the way). Most of the diveshops in Koror (presumably you are there for diving, right?) will pick you up for no cost as well.

The nicest features of this hotel are the staff who are helpful and a delight and the water park which is fun for both adults and kids. There is even an artificial sandy area designed to simulate the beach atmosphere around the water park and a poolside bar. The food at the restaurant is pretty good as well. Overall, the hotel is excellent value for money.

The downsides are the distance from the town center, hard beds if you arent used to them, and limited television.

“Great Place, Ok Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2010

The rooms were great. Very clean, and the staff was incredible. If you are traveling with a family the pool area can be a huge plus. I was planning on spending much of my time on the beach but was sad to find out that there are not many places for that. If you are going for scuba I would not recommend this place. It is a little far from the launch port. Many of the scuba places do not pick up from this hotel and the hotel does not offer shuttle service early enough to make the tours. So you need to hire a taxi. The taxi charges about 15 dollars each way so if you plan on going on tours or scuba figure in 30 dollars extra per day just to get into town.
