We stayed at La Promenade for 6 nights and were located on the 7th floor in the "middle" apartment block. Rooms are by no means luxurious but were clean, functional and contained all the amenities that we needed - and were great value for money (we shopped around on various travel websites to get the best deal). The full kitchen was well equipped and an option to save some money instead of dining out all the time. Plus shopping at local supermarkets was a great experience in itself. TV reception was a bit hit and miss - but, hey, we were on holiday so who needs TV? Didn't try the pool as weather was quite not warm enough for us Aussies at end of September. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at La Promenade again.

This Apartment Hotel was one of the best places I have ever stayed! We travelled as a group of five and stayed in a three bedroom Royal Suite and enjoyed our stay. It was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, there were two bathrooms including an ensuite and the view was superb. We ate most meals on the balcony as there was a table there and we were also able to relax on the deck chairs and enjoy the view. We were very well located just across the street from Anse Vate Beach in the main tourist area and an easy 20 minute bus ride into the city. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We did find it a little frustrating having the room service people knocking on our door most mornings to find out when we were going out so they could clean the room and occasionally the towels weren't changed, but these were minor issues and did not take away from our overall enjoyment of our stay in Noumea. We highly recommend this Apartment Hotel for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

I stayed at La Promenade for 9 nights over Christmas and New Year 2011-12. I stayed at 3 hotels in NC and this was by far the best. The rooms are spacious and have all kitchen and laundry facilities, the views from the higher floors are wonderful as there is a full sweeping view of the bay from the spacious balconies, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The position is excellent, right on the beach and esplanade front.
The staff were very kind, and helpful, and most had English which was useful to me as my French is not so good.
I will definitely make this my first choice to stay again, if and when I visit Noumea again.

We stayed here for over a week and absolutely loved it. We had a beautiful well appointed room with a full kitchen and laundry, the view from our balcony was fantastic. We had lunch and dinner on our balcony all the time. The free wifi is an added bonus. Good tv but we barely watched it. Pillows were a bit funny so if you are fussy bring your own! Close to heaps of cool stuff, really fantastic!

Pool area is really nice, lovely deck chairs and a hammock! The gym situation is a little confusing as one gym (oxalis) is a privately owned female-only gym, but hotel guests can use the cardio room during certain times. There is a another mixed "training room" gym which isn't the best so if you are male and rely on having a really good gym you might not be happy.

Would recommend this to everyone!
