We decided to go to New Caledonia for our honeymoon, the package we booked was for 6 nights at this hotel, although the people were friendly, the room had a bad smell (a really bad sewage problem) the beds were hard and the pillows awful, no hairdryer as apparently they get stolen all the time!

We found the places far to expensive for our taste and the meals very nice but really pricey! I do like to have a couple of drinks, but $20NZD we didn't have very many at all.

The pool was amazing and only 1 minute from the beach side, we found a nice beach if you walk further up north, had a lovely wharf and lovely tropical fish (we went snorkeling)

I enjoyed my trip, (oh, tho getting stung by coral in the sea was far from fun), but i won't be going back ever again!

The hotel was beautiful, with lovely food and grounds. Great facilities although the air conditioning had a phase where it made all the rooms smell bad:S

the pool was amazing and well designed, yummy food, nice people. They have internet access, well functioning lifts, spacey rooms, microwave, hairdryer, good showers and toilets!

good room service, although they overcater for towels a little bit. I came with a school group and everyone was very kind and helpful to us. The views are great, 2 mins away from shops, restaurants and beach.!

Part of a complex, the cheapest of them but far better standard than most 4 star Australian hotels. The "lagoon view" at the western end provided a better view of the roofs of the nearby retail buildings so try for the rooms nearer the lifts.

We stayed in Le pacifique for a week. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day, new towels, soap and shampoo supplied and they even washed the dishes. Yhe dishes, by the way, were supplied by the hotel and comprised basic cutlery, a salad bowl, plates, bread knife - allows one to have an occasional meal in the room.

Above all - staff very helpful and friendly, despite us not speaking a word of French. Everyone made an effort to understand and help out. Free unlimited wi-fi in the rooms if you have your own laptop.

The hotel pool is large and well maintained, the hotel restaurants quite expensive so we did not use thoe - plenty of good food within easy walking distance. Rimba Cafe just down the road makes the best burgers ever. Le Roof was a good experience, if a bit pricey.
