This is an excellent hotel with large, clean and well appointed rooms. The hotel is situated a fair way away from the centre of Asuncion (in Lambare). There is very little in the surrounding area, although it is close to another hotel and a luxurious looking restaurant and bar. The area is scenic and safe. A taxi to the centre costs between $USD15-20 each way. The hotel provides a free airport pick-up, however, be prepared to pay around $USD30 for the return trip. The hotel's own restaurant is perfectly adequate with a good selection of dishes at pretty good prices. The staff at the hotel were attentive and helpful. For the price we paid for a superior room, this hotel was very good.
