The hotel is located 30 minutes from the airport, depending on the traffic. The cost of a taxi was 20,000 Colombian pesos. You can buy your ticket for the taxi right at the airport. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English (except for the restaurant crew). The decor is from the mid-80's, but we didn't care because we needed somewhere cheap for one night. The beds, however, are horrid! I've slept on more comfortable futons. Also, be ready to wake up early, because the streets below are loud! Bring earplugs if you want to sleep in late. The breakfast was more than satisfactory - breads, fruit, juices, an omellete chef. Our flight was not until 10:30 in the evening, so the hotel kept our bags for us so that we can visit the city. When we returned, they brought our bags for us, flagged us a cab and loaded it for us. Overall, the hotel's below average beds and a terrible location, but great staff, gets an average rating from me. If you are going to stay for only one night, this isn't bad. If you will be there for a few days, you may be more comfortable somewhere else.
