I was shockingly impressed by this hotel. It is very modern and everyone is professional here. It is about 10-15 mintues from the airport. The US Consulate is around the corner (helpful to know if you are a US citizen). Even though check-in is later in the afternoon, they let me check-in at 8am with zero hassle. The breakfast is great with a large variety. Room service is great although let me warn you that the fish is VERY salty, but otherwise very good and filling. They refer to you as Senorita or Senor, with your last name. So then to top off my 2 night stay here, I missed my outgoing flight back to the US. To make a long story short, I had to stay the night in the hotel again to catch another flight the next day. I made reservations again with them as soon as I found out about my missed flight. The driver personally called me on my cell to tell me not to worry and that he was on his way to pick me back up at the airport. Back at the hotel, everyone was exceptionally accomodating and quickly rushed to get a room ready for me. I was in a room within 10 minutes and keep in mind that check-in is later in the afternoon and I was in at 11am.
The onenegative thing I have to say about this hotel is that the young receptionist guy has a terrible attitude and needs to find a new profession that does not include customer service or answering the phones. Luckily I only had to deal with him in passing.
Stay at this hotel, you will not have any regrets!!!!

Ok I actually ended up at the De La Feria by accident, was suppose to be at the Feria International. But the staff was very accomidating even with the communication difficulty, my spanish is fair at best. Regardless, they had rooms available, and it was more expensive than I planned, around $115 after a good exchange rate. Like I said the staff was very helpful and even made a phone call for me when I could not get the phone in my room to work. They provided me free transportation to the airport the next morning and over all my stay was nice. The bellman even hooked me up with free use of their computer to check my email, while I waited for the shuttle, typically they charge u 10.000 peso's for a 24 hr card.

The room was nice, the bed was very firm, but that is typical in south america, the shower was great and the rest of the room was very nice.

The breakfast was not the best, it was my second trip to Bogota and the previous one the hotel breakfast was much better.

I would say its a good hotel for the money.

La Feria, Bogota hotel, is a 2.5 us star hotel, they suppose to pick me up at airport after one hour waiting for them finally I ride a cab to the hotel, and also they did not honor my reservation and by 10 pm I got no hotel due their lack of service, so i need to go to another hotel.

Please watch out, hotel looks nice outside, but it is painfull to fly 5 hours and get no hotel.
