We had a one day stopover in Bogota so we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious with everything you need (including free internet) but the furnishing are dated making it not as good as it could be. Breakfast was included.... fresh omelettes cooked to order made it worthwhile, the rest was just average. The location could have been better. If you only have one day in Bogota like we did, you may want to stay closer to the Historical Centre... we had to take a taxi which took about 20 minutes (a little more with traffic) and it cost about US$10 each way. Not alot of money but it was more a convenience factor - it would have been better to be in walking distance to the main attractions. We found the Porter/Doorman to be more helpful and knowledgable than the Front Desk staff, when it came to maps, directions and restaurant suggestions. The Zona Rosa is a great spot for shopping, restaurants and nightlife - definitely worth visiting. The boys went to the pub while the girls did some shopping before dinner - win/win. This won't be the nicest or most glamourous hotel you've ever stayed in but our stay was comfortable and pleasant.
