We stayed for two nights at this hotel on the 5th floor. They picked us up at the airport, and our driver was there upon arrival and easy to find. Ride to hotel was about 30 minutes. Got there before the 300 PM checkin time, and got to check in early, which was nice. Our room was absolutely GORGEOUS and HUGE. We had an upgraded room, and there was a bedroom, dining area, living room area, desk area, and HUGE bathroom with two separate areas to get ready in the bathroom. Our safe was locked and we were unable to open it the entire trip, even after we called down to the front desk and asked for assistance. The minibar oddly had NO prices either, so that stopped us from using anything from it. I noticed a small burn spot on the couch in the living room, which I thought was odd since the hotel is smoke free. One morning, the elevators were down because they were working on the building, and we had to walk the stairs too, which was kinda inconvenient being on the 5th floor. Ate at the restaurant in the hotel one time and the food was great and service was quick. Oh, the one real downside to this hotel was the sound outside. Our room overlooked the street, and Bogota is loud ALL night long. I am a hard sleeper, and even with the TV on, I could hear stuff going on outside all night long, which made it hard to sleep well. Also, internet access for your room was crazy expensive at $27 per day. Checkout was easy as well, and they arranged a ride to the airport for us for our early morning flight. Overall, really liked the hotel. I thought it was slightly overpriced in general, but ALL hotels in that area of Bogota were pretty pricey, and our room was SOO nice, I did not really care.
