I thought it was in a very safe great location. Customer Service was excellent and the rooms were clean. Their are restaurants and bars right around the corner. I stayed there twice.

The location is really nice as it is in the middle of everything- stores, restaurants, bars, malls - however it gets loud at night. So loud that even thought the hotel windows are double glass, the noise does not permit a good nights sleep.-

My partner and I stayed at the Royal Boheme in Bogota during a recent trip in January 2011. We found the staff very accomodating, providing excellent service and always willing to assist you with your inquiries. The hotel room was absolutely stunning, very comfortable and the location of the hotel was brilliant just near Zona T and a short trip from Zona Rosa. We found the hotel very safe and secure and taxi's were always readily available with request from Hotel staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone it is in the budget of.

I'm writing this review because a lot of my american friends are asking me for a hotel to stay in Bogota. If you want to spend between $100-$200 per night and you are planning to go out at night in Bogota then this hotel is your best option.

This is not your best option if you want to go to sleep early and you have a very "sensitive ear". It could be loud sometimes but not always. This hotel is about location and service. It is situated next to what is called the 'Zona Rosa' in Bogota. One of the best places to go out in Bogota. Do not get confused with the 'Red District' in other cities around the world. The "Zona Rosa" or "La T" is a block in Bogota where you are going to find fine dining, great bars and excellent nightclubs.

It is located next to the new ANDRES CARNE DE RES, the famous restaurant/bar/nightclub in Chia, Colombia. ANDRES CARNE DE RES opened its new location in this prestigious location in Bogota. Don't forget to make reservations in advance if you are planning to go to Andres.

Boheme Royal is also located next to 3 of the most well-known malls in the city. You are at walking distance. Here you will find your internationally recognized brands (e.g. LV) and prestigious national brands. You also have 2 movie theaters and food courts.

I would recommend this hotel for young professionals (single or married with no kids). The hotel has a wonderful staff, the rooms are not luxurious but of a much better quality than a Holiday Inn. This hotel compares to a Marriott in a secondary city in the US.

The first time I stayed at this hotel was for my wedding 3 years ago. I had 20+ people coming from outside Colombia (mostly Americans) and most of them stayed in this hotel. They all had a wonderful time. Keep in mind that some of them weren't young of age but young of spirit.

Since then I have stayed at this hotel at least twice per year with no regrets. I also keep recommending this hotel over and over to my friends visiting Bogota and they have never complained.

I really believe that this hotel deserves a better rating. Nevertheless because of this low rating in Trip Advisor their rates haven't increased and that is probably good for everyone.
