I stayed in the hotel for 3 days in July 2011.
There are many things to like about the hotel. But the most appealing was the great attitude of the employees. From the front desk to the maids, to the bar all employees had great positive helpful attitudes.
Checkin was fine, the room was ok. The size is great, with wood floors which I love. Big table to spread out my work on. Flat screen TV. Bathroom was ok, with a big shower, and lots of hot water.
The gym is ok, a little tricky to get to, the members tend to get there early and stay on the machines a long time.
The bar is excellent, loved the service, the snacks, the sushi. A definate high point. Another high point is breakfast, I stay in Bogota every two weeks, so I know most of the hotels, and this is definately a great breakfast. You dont have to beg for a second cup of coffee which seems to frequently be the case.
The not so good parts. The furniture in my room was tired. And you have the traffic noise. But lets be real, unless you go very high budget in Bogota, such as the Marriotts etc., you are going to deal with the traffic noise. Think positive you don't need an alarm clock. The AC in the room made a big noise as well, I just turned it off.
Overall very happy, and since it is next door to my office, its my new hotel.
