This was one of the more expensive hostels we stayed in and it didn't live up to expectations. We payed 150 B per night for a double room with shared shower/ toilet, this included a longer stay discount and paying cash in advance. Our room was a disappointment, we were in a corner with a tiny window so didn't get any sunlight. The room was permanently dark and we were right next to the toilet which, as the walls were thin, we could hear absolutely everything! Some of the other rooms looked a lot nicer so I think we were unlikely here. The real disappointment though was the atmosphere of the place, it just felt miserly. Breakfast was not included in the price and outside food and drink was banned meaning you had to use the onsite cafe, the laundry cost was the most expensive I've come across, they charged for use of the safe, as well as for hot water bottles for the cold room. Oh, and the wifi rarely worked. All in all I expected more for what we paid and wouldn't go back.
