We are back to Las Cumbres once again. If you try it once, you will want more... Each room is different, but always well decorated, large, very comfortable. Staff is very good, service is outstanding. We took a low-season package, including breakfast and one full meal in the rate, which is pretty convenient at this time of the year. You can have a perfect dinner it the hotel's restaurant, have a good wine and relax without driving up to Punta's restaurants - something like 10Km. Hotel has a good spa, lots of books and DVD's and indoor and outdoor areas where you can seat and relax. Or just enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi in rooms like "Punta" or "Sol".

I stayed and visited Las Cumbres together with my future wife at numerous occasions between February and March 2011. The Hotel is located like a perfect hideaway up a hill a short drive off the central parts of Punta del Este. The reception was always professional and cheerful. The staffs made us feel very relaxed. We stayed in different rooms, each ones unique with a personal and tasteful interior. My girlfriend who is fussy about cleanliness pointed out that the rooms were always impeccable. The poolside view is one of the best I’ve seen in my life. It’s true luxury to see the sunset standing in the pool and sipping a glass of white wine. I’ve saved the best for last. This is probably the best dining experience in South America. The chef came out and explained his compositions and commodities that made our menu to us. The waiter knows his menu and wine list and was always able to recommend the right liquids when we needed his help.
It is likely that we will come back even if it means travelling across the globe.

Las Cumbres is a place to relax. Rooms are large, very comfortable and well decorated. We stayed in one of the Casco suites, called "Sol" (Sun), a great choice. The hotel is plenty of different environments for a good reading, a cup of tea, a glass of wine, or just staying in the deck watching the sunset. We have taken a half-board package and the offered dinner was excellent. Service is amazing, with a great staff.

The hotel's location has stunning views and the service and support was excellent, especially Fabiana. I was disappointed that the hotel didn't offer a complimentary car or shuttle service to the beach, Punta del Este or surrounding area. It was $40US to get anywhere. The atmosphere is more for couples and not very conducive to meeting other travelers.
