I reached Al Diar Mina Hotel early morning at 4:00. Earlier, I had reached Dubai at 12:00 and took Emirates shuttle to Abu Dhabi to reach there at such an odd time. The hotel is famous and all can drivers knew its location. The hotel reception was open even at that time, and the guy at reception gave no trouble to me in checking me in. I found a porter as well to escort me to the room. Room was quite good and spacious. It had a TV, a safe vault, two bottles of mineral water (you can not drink tap water in Abu Dhabi) and other basic amenities. Washrooms were big and fitted with bathtub.

Most amazing was the room service. I had no trouble, whatsoever, while my stay. The staffs were so cooperative, that they even provided me with complementary breads, when I asked them to get my ready-to-eat stuff warmed. Most of the staffs understood English and even some knew Hindi and Urdu.

Restaurants in the hotel were okay for an individual traveler, but not recommended for a family. Breakfast was complementary.

However, the hotel is surrounded by heavy construction all around. That is the only negative part of it. The front roadway is also being upgraded to a two-tier tunnel. So the outside view is not that much impressive. However, from some rooms, you can get a glimpse of famous Corniche beach. Overall a good experience.

hotel is located in a an area where they are doing a lot of road constructuion. so there is no valet parking and all the public parking is completelty full and cars are parked on the curbs... due to this lack of parking space people are beeping the car horns all night and to add to that there was a night club under my room 413. and i had to call reception five times to help but nothjing was donr untill about 3:30Am, and by then I was able to sleep, not very good since i had wake at 5am. no hot water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never again.

I had gone for a business trip for two weeks and stayed in this hotel in Abu Dhabi. This is part of the Al Diar chain and there are couple of other properties nearby as well. The key advantage is that the hotel is in a good location and there are some nice eatery joints and grocery stores within 100 metres. Also in less than 5 minutes drive one can reach the Corniche which is the the most beautiful drive and part of the city. The food and service is all right and the decor decent. There are better properties nearby but simply for conveniece and cheaper accommodation, one could explore this hotel

I stayed there for one day , its ok , but the hotel does not look nice , the room is cheap , the water in the tab cold and warm , there is no hot water at all , they give it around 35 degree, which is very cold to wash , may be they safe money , may be other reasons . its forsinf a/c for all the hotel rooms , the breakfast is nothing to eat, and the window looking for the constractions , they start at 7 am !!! all the heavy machines , plus there is a road and you hear all the car running from the closed windows, there is something like night club or bar gives the high sound till 3am !! So there is no sleep there !!!
