The location is alright and the room itself is quite nice, but there are a thing you should be aware of. The internet service in the room is terrible - couldn't get a signal for 8 days and had to use the business center all the time. Other than that, the service is OK and the meals at the restaurant were good.

I have stayed in this hotel for three time and i am going to use it for sure in the upcoming trips to Doha.
The hotel is located around 5-10 minutes from the Doha International Airport. which makes it quite convenient to reach the hotel or to leave to airport.
The three stays were in two different types of rooms, i tried the classic once and twice for the deluxe suites. All the three experience were rated as good.
I could tell that some of the rooms have LCD screens and others have the flat ones, looks like the hotel is undergoing a renovation which is not yet complete in electronics but that's not a big deal.
The Bed is comfortable and the bath amenities are good as well.
The internet in the rooms is free and part of the package and it is quite okay in terms of speed.
Depends on your booking, sometimes you might find out that it does not includes breakfast which will be then charged separately. The breakfast is good and has all what you need to get charged for the day.
The hotel taxi is pretty expensive as they use private company and it is the usual challenge in Doha to find a Taxi. if you can opt for renting a car, it would turn out to be cheaper.

Stayed here for 4 nights in Pearl Suite on 10th (executive floor). Large bedroom with sitting area, free wi-fi that worked well. Although there is a separate breakfast room and free soft drinks etc during the day, the Pearl Lounge was being used for a seminar for most of the time I was there, although there was a note provided to explain that F&B 'privileges' were still being provided in the restaurant. Bed very comfortable but room fairly utilitarian - but fine for the price (600QR per night incl breakfast etc) compared to the price colleagues were paying elsewhere. This also included airport pick up and drop off which would cost you around 40QR if not more.
Well located - a 10-15 minute walk will take you to the main Souk area and walking at night seemed to be very safe - even though there were 3 of us. In fact Doha seems very safe generally. There is an hotel limo service but it's expensive and you can pick up local taxis outside hotel although you may have to wait some time - the longest we waited was around 10 minutes. It's good to have an idea of the cost of the journey - they never want to use the meter.

I stayed for 15 days in Doha Seef Hotel for business meeting in Qatar then off to Bahrain. To be honest, I like the hotel, food and the friendly and helpful staff there until I found out that both my money and Blackberry are missing. I sent to friends to go there but the sad part is, they were not able to pinpoint who could have taken my valuables.

Anyway, that will be my first & last stay there in the hotel.
