I have stayed many times in Doha and this was the first time I tried the Millenium. The hotel is neat clean and well placed for business.
What marks this hotel out however is the excellent attitude of everyone working there. I was there 4 days and without exception they all tried their best and gave first rate exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble.
I had to use various services the hotel provides and was always dealt with in a most professional way that was helpful and considerate. This is not always the case with many hotels of course but the staff of the Millenium are to be congratulated.

It's always my first choice for my weekend visiting to Doha. Comparing with 5 stars hotels it’s a valuable one and the most low cost 5 stars hotel. I stayed for more than 12 times since years. New hotel. You "may" feel from the first sight that it's not one of the 5 stars hotels "small hotel" but actually its. Welcoming staff and helpful always, providing a late check-out till 1600 with no extra charge. Location is very good, nears to Sad and Nasser road which are one of popular commercials area in Doha. Near to Chornish area and the malls. I highly recommend it if you want to stay in 5 star hotel and not paying that much.

stayed at the Millennium for business for 3 days. Staff at reception, bell boy etc friendly, but not very fast.
Wi-Fi internet access through out the hotel, very good, but hotel router will ask you x-times to 'accept' to re-enter, if computer went in sleep modus, annoying if you use iPad/iPhone
Rooms clean, not sure why the still have shower curtains in a hotel that was opened 2007....
During my stay we had two weddings in the hotel and then it is better to have a room on level 5 or higher and far away from the elevator ;-)
Restaurant Buffet was nice, not top, but definitely good.
Check out was a hassle as we had a block booking and this confused staff. Had to sign 3 times before leaving....

The hotel is a good property and is new. The location however is a little out of the way and taxis being a problem in Doha a little prior planning is required to call for a cab to reach your location. The rooms are well done and clean, the buffet spread is good at breakfast. The hotel does not have a bar though. The center point mall is right behind the hotel and has access to most conveniences that are normally available. The property is pretty far from the Corniche.
