My new employers chose the hotel for me to stay on arrival in Doha, booked an apartment for a month and let me get on with looking for a permenant home.
I had a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 bathrooms, lounge, fitted kitchen and dining area. It was clean, well equiped and cleaned and serviced daily, all the kitchen utencils where new, the washer/dryer & microwave new, the TV was a huge tube type attached to a freeview/satalite box, all equipment had no instructions so it was all trial and error but you get sorted,
The AC was perfect, the main bed actually very comfortable and with tons of storage space the apartment (302) was really comfortable. I chose to become self sufficient and shop and cook for myself so didnt try the restaurant which offered buffet meals. I did use the pool which was a bit of a disaster, they were renovating some parts and changing a room into a gym which resulted in noise and mess which occured through the whole month I stayed.
The pool was clean and refreshing, loungers ok, the view was awful, its a small pool overlooked by everything so you feel a bit self concious but the hotel follows islamic traditions so a lot of users where fully clothed!
If you need a budget clean and well staffed place to stay its good, quite central but walking is not really an option due to the busy main roads which surround it.
