Having stayed at other similar resorts in this region I can say this resort has easily the nicest rooms and the nicest spa I've ever seen. The beds were amazing and I still have dreams about waking up in their glory. I still can't get over them. You are basically sleeping between two down comforters on a firm bed and it is the closest thing to heaven on earth you can find. I even used the toiletry items they supplied (which I never do because even Hilton's feel cheap to me) and the shampoo and conditioner were nice, along with the loofah, shaving kit, shoe polish kit, nail kit and half dozen other extras. Like the proprietor in the movie Jurassic park said, they clearly spared no expense. On each of the desks is a fantastic plug-in adapter with American and European ports so if you are just using a laptop and phone like I was you don't need to bring adapters.
For the airplane noise I will say this, through many of the nights I slept here I would mysteriously wake up at midnight, 2am and around 4:30. When I woke up I couldn't specifically hear or remember hearing airplanes but since they happened every night at the same times I figured they must have been. I am also a light sleeper and getting back asleep is no big problem for me. When you are in your room you can hear the planes but it isn't bad. When you are outside, they are loud enough that any conversation must stop for a few seconds until it passes. Currently there don't seem to be many flights, but being January I also wasn't hanging around outside a lot. Soon the new airport will be finished and this won't be a problem any more.
In the spa there are not only separate changing rooms for the ladies and men but the ladies have a private pool, hot tub, steam room and around the pool is a lounging area where you could tan. They also have co-ed and ladies only exercise rooms. The ladies only exercise room was great with ellipticals, treadmills and weights.
We had the breakfast buffet every morning with was at par with the other five star resorts I've stayed at but the room service menu could stand some expansion. The grounds were lovely, with amazing views from the pool. Like my co-worker said "Do you feel like you are on your honeymoon alone?" The answer was yes. The only thing that could have made this stay better was if I was with someone to enjoy it with! And of course the staff was lovely and obliging. The steward(?) who opened our doors when our car pulled up called us by name! I had never spoke with him or introduced myself, so they clearly put a lot of work into guest relations.
I can't speak to the value of the stay at all since it was for work and I never saw the final room bill. So I will rate it average.
