Stay at the Ramada Plaza only a few days ago in Jan. It was a business trip. The free pick from airport which is every hour was fantastic. Staff very polite. The check in was easy. Room was clean, with all the amenities you would want. It seems Ramada offers free internet in all its hotels as I stayed in Ramada Bahrain and it was the same case there. Free wi-fi is hug plus point for me. The internet connect very very fast.
The breakfast was very god with lots of variety and actually made little changes to the menu each day to make a change. Room service was very good.
The staff were very helpful. I used the hotel taxi service as was fed up of taxis outside. The hotel taxi was great.
My only problem was that my bed was too soft for my liking.
Overall very happy with the trip.

We stayed here so we could attend the Ocktoberfest. We asked for a non-smoking room. When we went to the room the smell of smoke was over powering! We returned to the reception where they assured us it was a non-smoking room. They reluctantly gave us a new room. When we checked this room the smell of damp was the overpowering odour this time! Again we complained. The next room was also damp although not as bad so we put up with it. All of the rooms we were shown seemed old and out of date. The beds were extremely small single beds. The service was OK, if a little grumpy at times. The food was nice with a good selection from the breakfast buffet. I really don't think this hotel deserves it's star rating. I was disappointed and wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. There are far better Hotels in Doha for the same price or less!

I stay in the Ramada Doha regularly for business. The hotel is very comfortable with an outstanding array of restaurants and bars. The service is generally spot on, all members of staff being polite and courteous. Time by the pool is well spent, and a well equipt gym is on site. The rooms are generally quiet and comfortable, with my only real complaint being there are not enough electrical sockets. There tends to be only one, and this is a little far from the bed to sit and use a lap top whilst plugged in. Wifi is free and usually has good reception, bars can be fun and lively, but are very smokey.....would be a five star rating if smoking areas were provided.

Stayed here for couple of times. The experience is superb. The reception service is excellent with their always shining smiles and very good gesture. Multilingual and multicultural staffs are very efficient. They have a great buffet. The rooms are good and the sleep quality is nice as the beds are real soft. The toilets are good with top class amenities. The new wing is really above the mark, I would suggest to ask for room in the new wing. Apart from their outdoor swimming pool, the outdoor jacuzzi is an added luxury I felt. Nice to enjoy the pool with water mood music.
