we arrived at 7pm on the Thursday and were met by fun and friendly staff. They upgraded our rooms without hesitation, changed up some money, showed on a map where to go and had us in our room with a bucket of ice getting the night started in a very short time. Rooms weren't huge but clean and big enough, shame about the internet but with good tv service it wasn't the end of the world. Breakfast and room service was very good in my opinion and service was snappy, the hotel is out of the way so no real noise problems in my experience and had a nice view of the hillside from my room (if you care about that sort of thing) all in all i had a good experience here no fuss and great helpful staff, would stay here again and recommend to a friend

We went to Beirut for the New Year Dec. 29th 2011 and we arrived the hotel after a city tour at
3:00 P.M. and our rooms were not ready. We waited for an hour and still our room was missing towels, etc. We stayed for 3 nights and they couldn't manage to give us hair dryer. The lobby was near our room and it was a very noisy lobby. They said its a 4 star hotel but for us it deserves only one star. The shower cabin's door fall on my husband's feet. Everything was old. The towels, curtains all very old.... I would not advise this hotel to any one....

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my friend for the new year holiday. I was expecting a better location but it was a bit far from my favorite place, Solidere, but still close to the Falamanki café (7 min walking). It took us around 15 min walk to ABC Mall. Rooms are small but convenient and comfortable with no bad smells. Hotel in general is very good in all aspects especially the friendly staff, cleanliness of the room, nice breakfast, free WiFi internet in the lobby but I got disappointed because WiFi is not available in the room. Bathtub was leaking causing me distress after each time I have a shower. In conclusion, I can recommend this hotel for all travelers who are looking for value for money. By the way, it’s worth mentioning that I got the best price via Lebhotels.com.

We stayed for only one night in the Golden Tulip, and it was a good experience. Conveniently located (walking distance) in the central part of Hamra next to all the shops and restaurants, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and fully equipped, and they also have a private parking if necessary. The breakfast was also good. However considering that it is located in a very central and busy part of town, the traffic can be a little noisy at night, but this was a minor issue.
