“Good location, decent service”

The rooms are a bit outdated but the location is a nice little street and its right next to the Intercontinental Phoenecia which has the most amazing outdoor lounge ever!
Staff are very friendly we were given a free business room upgrade upon check in
Bathrooms are ok, a little old but clean.
Good for a quick stop / business travel to Beirut. Taxis are available aplenty

“A pleasant surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Last week I visited Beirut with a group of friends who arranged a good package of air tickets and hotel accommodations at this hotel, it was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice hotel with spacious rooms. The bathroom and amenities were good but the tub could use a litlle updating.
The sea view room was a little bigger but you can only see a very small corner of the sea.
The rooms had a coffee and tea kettle with complimentary water daily .
One comment about the room is that there was a lot of dust on the tables, behind the TV and on the remote.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Nancy who was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and making reservations.
The breakfast was good with a wide variety of local and international foods and it lasted 4 hours (6-11).
The location is good too, a 10 minute walk to Solidaire or Hamra street and a short cab ride to Ashrafieh.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

“Good service in SAS Radisson Martinez, Beirut”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

I spent Christmas in Beirut and stayed (again) at SAS Radisson Martinez. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent and the room even upgraded for free. The hotel's location is quite nice, only a short walk from the seaside. We also had a good dinner (lebanese) at the hotel. Happy to recommend this hotel!

“Average Business Hotel, But?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

I used this hotel a few times. It is a great hotel if you date to be close to Solidre. The staff at reception when I checked in were not service minded. They felt they wanted to argue, I guess the old style Lebanese way maybe of needing a tip to sort things out! Other then that everyone else in the hotel were great specially the guys that clean the rooms. The staff at the reception need a major course and training in customer service.

Rooms are showing their age and when compared with other Lebanese hotels it is by far behind in terms of style and quality.

In summary it OK but might not go back due to reception staff attitude.

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

Being in an exceptional place like Beirut requests a good place to start from. The Radisson Blu offers such opportunity as it is well placed, nice gym and good quality of services. The breakfast is ok offering a good choice. I did not try the restaurant as there are so many nice restaurants available.
