it is clean, excellent and prompt service, spatious room. always available to support and help for what you need. they spent time when they gave me directions to places to visit and helped me with the transpostation contacts.

The only problem is it is bot that close to city center you always need to take a taxi. But eveything else is very nice

Definitely a business hotel. No real outdoor areas to enjoy the sun. Good gym and nice public areas. Average sized rooms in very good order. No free wifi despite what the wifi landing page implies. US$7 per hour. US$30 buffet breakfast was very limited compared to the banquet at the Phoenicia. Otherwise good value if you can get the room on a special for under US$100 a night.

Metropolitan Palace is centrally located at 30 minute drive (without traffic) from airport in Beirut. The room is clean with decent furniture and decor. What is missing in the room is iron with iron-table and tea kettle. The staff is very good. Good choice for breakfast including hot omellete prepared as per guest requirement. Nice meeting rooms with modern equipment. IN the room you will receive a fresh fruit basket. Overall a decent hotel in Beirut for all types of travellers.
