My friends and I stayed one night in Kuwait on our way to Dubai. The Ramada came recommended. Internet speed was fast, they were friendly at check in and breakfast was above average. The down side was that the bathroom smelled horrible, in all the rooms. They said they were having a plumbing issue. It smelled like a backed up sewer line. Also the areas around are not as nice as the pictures depict. I found it over priced as it cost $140 a night. But personnaly I don't like to pay more than $100 a night for anywhere you can't get a beer.

Ramada Hotel Kuwait was formerly Safir International. The food is average there and the staying experience as well.
The property is mainly used for Kuwaiti Marriages and there is no good parking available for hotel guests. It is close to the Ardiya Industrial Area and the Avenues Mall so people having business meetings in that area will save time travelling. Approx 10 minutes travel time from Airport.

The curtains in the bedroom were grey from cigarette smoke with holes in them. The carpet was stained. Most of the food was not good but about 1/3 was very tasty. The TV did not work. Only 2 pillows and not enough linen. Robes were old and raggedy. The view is NOT the picture you will see in the advertising...There is an abandonned, collapsed hotel in front of the hotel...It looks like the hotel was built in an industrial area. I chose the Ramada, because usually, the beds are nice, but the beds were hard! Even my husband found it hard, and he likes hard beds usually, but not this one!
Service was not good either.

Very pleasantly suprised by this hotel. Large room with an internal balcony overlooking well-kept lobby area. Excellent Indian restaurant on the first floor and good buffet breakfast in main restaurant. Good gym, pool and keep fit facilities. Much better than some Ramada hotels that I have stayed in.
