First time was in July 2011; second time was early this year. A lot of times, you get a warm feeling the first time, and then go back and find it's all changed for the worse. Or, vice versa. In this case, we had a great stay the first time, and came back to find it was just as good. VERY helpful staff. I wish they spoke more American, but then they probably wish I spoke more Arabic....

I booked the hotel as normal on their web site and provided my card details to (what I thought) guarantee the room. Apparently this was a pre pay room. I arrived and everything was great hotel, food, service, everything.
They are carrying out building work but this didn’t affect me at all. I checked out one day early and still had to pay for the night that I had pre-paid, no negotiation at all, the rooms aren’t the cheapest either. So be warned, check what you’re booking.

After a long, grueling trip to Kuwait, the Crowne Plaza was a welcoming oasis of comfortable surroundings and friendly staff. The guest room was large and provided all of the amenities I would need. The Crowne Plaza has even gone the extra mile to supply free wireless service that is reliable and has enough bandwidth to get work done.

There are several different restaurants in the hotel and all that I tried produced good, tasty meals. I would recommend the Japanese restaurant above the others that I patronized. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items, including freshly made omelettes.

The Crowne Plaza is quite close to Kuwait International Airport, which makes it a convenient stopover point for short stays in the city. The only downside is that there aren't really any other restaurants or shops in the area, but the hotel is pretty self-sufficient for most travelers' needs.

In the event that I return to Kuwait, the Crowne Plaza would be my first choice in hotels.

My first visit to Kuwait was in mid-June, 2010. Since then I have visited Kuwait 3 more times, the most recent December 2011. My hotel of choice is the Crowne Plaza! I have never seen an entire hotel staff go beyond all norms to ensure my stay was pleasant, comfortable, and truly memorable. Service in the restaurant was great, the Lounge Coordinator was terrific, Housekeeping was excellent, and the Front Desk staff were genuine in their desire to ensure my stay was a great experience. The rooms were the cleanest I've seen, all anemities (TV, bath, morning newspaper, free breakfast, etc.) were flawless. I will again stay at the Crowne 6-17 Feb 2012 and am very much looking forward to another fantastic experience!
