Restaurants on the waterfront is always my first choice. the Elite Seef Spa is not an
attractive building but if I had not been curious and check out the restaurant, I would have
missed out on a great waterfront experience. It is very Arabic in appearance with a small
swimming pool and patrons smoking shisah. Two traditional tents are beside the pool
which are reserved for weddings. However, it is located directly on the waterfront with
modern wooden tables and chairs overlooking the Gulf. The menu is typical of all Arabic
restaurants with a variety of choices; I tried the local lobster which was delicious. The
restaurant is next to a small marina for seados and if you want absolute peace and
tranquility it is not always there when the boats return; it is very lively though. A view of
the coastline with its mineaurettes, small buildings and dusky sunset with a cool water
breeze makes it a very delightful place to dine.
Cold room service expensive food, no mini bar or alchohol, reception staff totally confused over bills and no handover, dirty rooms, only one tv not one in bedroom, expensive internet and over priced shuttle service, should of had breakfast but was never advised how to get this, no free fruit basket as advised.
We booked 3 bedroom suite for 573.33$ directly from the hotel, it was spacious (living room, bedrooms, kitchen …etc) except one bedroom was just ok.
It has 4 bathrooms, one near the living room, and every room has its own bathroom and the bathrooms were great (they don’t have water spray near the toilet seat expect the one in the living room).
The kitchen has everything you need.
The pool was great and clean, you can sit and view the pool and the sea with nice yet old music by the pool bar.
But booking by phone was kind of tricky thing, I booked early then when I arrived they said I don’t have any reservation ! I must have some kind of conformation number, but I finally found a 3 bedroom suite.
The location was the best thing, far from the crowded area and near shopping malls and hot spots .
By the way, they don’t have an ice tong for the ice bucket !!!!
I was in Bahrain for three weeks supporting personnel transfers through Bahrain. This hotel is a good stay. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious, the internet is top quality (though not free), and the room comes with a full-sized fridge and a microwave (though no dishes/silverware). This was especially helpful when I wanted something before having to do a surprise pickup at the airport at 2am! The room service menu is limited in variety, but good quality.
