peaceful hotel with friendly staffs .... parking is behind the hotel which we have to make a small round.. but people to take care of it ,, at the souk.... good restaurants around . good night life ,close to shoping malls .hotel is peaceful as they dont have a bar....we can sleep. will recommend .. worth paying the reasonable rate... go for it .. i stayed for 3 days and enjoyed

This Hotel has great location, in walking distance to Bab Al Bahrain, and Post office, earlier I was disappointed with the narrow one way road's lead towards Hotel, But thanks to Hotel Staff they have Vallet parking available for guest which just behind the Hotel choose your spot well else you might be boxed park as I was.

Awal means number One- but they are expecting 3 Stars, which will let unfold discotheque and other facilities, It offers Free Wifi and cable connection, Rooms are well spacious, clean with retro T.V sets, had a comfortable sleep on Bed after good stroll at souqs.

Walk at Souq's is must duty for all tourist It has every thing to offer, Pure Veg & Fast food restaurants, shops, Temple and mosques.

All of this at very economical price at Awal Hotel.

The on site restaurant is closed, the bars are closed. Gym wasn't found.

Furniture is getting tired, sheets and towels are tearing up from wear. Contrary to what many descriptions say wifi is not available in rooms. Only in lobby. The ethernet connection in the rooms is pretty fast though. Th TV's in the rooms are old, and receptionis bad. I could not see any english language channels without "snow" on the screen.

The balcony door can't be locked.The shuttle is filthy dirty on the inside.Toiletpaper seemed to be a commodity. Non smoking room gave me a headache from tobacco smell.

Good points: Staff seemed to realize the deficiencies, and were super helpful and friendly.

The hotel is at manama souk. rooms are newly done,with internet.breakfast was good
rooms very clean. this hotel has more facilities than most of the three star and 4 star hotels around.and rate is very much affordable. very happy with the stay .

good for families ..... but for us had to go to nearby hotel to have our special coffee.
great will come back ... u will love this place. will feel like home .try
they say will get three star and then will have live band and disco we can have our special coffee there
