I stayed in room 608 which was a large suite during a recent trip on business. The room is partitioned into two sections with a living room/kitchen and a large bedroom. Bathroom has both a stand up shower and bath tub. There's also a small balcony. The view outside the room is nice but a little noisy if you decide to open the windows as there is a busy road. This was not too much of a problem for me. Room on the whole was excellent, yes there was the odd little strip in the shower which was broken but really not a problem. The free WIFI was a great touch.
The reception, housekeeping staff were polite and efficient. However, the staff in the restaurant and breakfast were a little disappointing. Food was not great in the hotel and we did try the restaurant on two days. Burnt salmon, coleslaw past it's sell by date. What concerned me was when we did complain about the food there was no apology just an acknowledgement. For a 4* hotel that simply wasn't good enough. Breakfast was also not great, yes there are options but average at best.
The location of the hotel is between two large malls so the dining issues can be mitigated as there are plenty of good restaurants close by.
Gym was small but fine. There are two running machines and they were free whenever i wanted to use them.
Overall this is a nice hotel i did like the size of the room and the location is great. Would i stay here again? I'm not too sure based on the fact Bahrain has many good hotels. Certainly good for business though due to the free WIFI option.
