“Good choice, beware of the super slow internet tho!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2011

Stayed at this hotel for a few nights late Jan, 2011. The location is ok, close to a couple shopping centers, but not suitable for walking around and exploring the city. The rooms are pretty spacious and have very functional kitchenettes with fridge, microwave, etc. Bathrooms are HUGE and very clean. The dinner buffet is ok, but the breakfast is really good (had the best scrambled eggs at the eggs station, not the buffet counter). Staff were very friendly and eager to help (people are generally quite friendly in Bahrain!).

My only gripe is the internet. They have a 'business' center, which is basically three computers outside the restaurant and no printer. It's expensive and really slow, on a good day, it takes about 5 minutes to open a page, literally. I gave up on it twice and didn't get a refund.

I would recommend this hotel, but i personally would want to try another hotel next time i'm in Bahrain.

“Internet too expensive and way too slow”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2010

I am not sure if it is so good value for money. It is certainly in a good location and very clean. But is has a lot of the disadvantages of other hotel appartments, which come cheaper. Major disadvantage on my opinion the expensive internet, which was the slowest I have experienced in a hotel in the region for years.

“Great Value for Money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2010

We stayed on Eid holidays in Elite Suites,I Read reviews in Tripadvisor & chose this hotel & I did no mistake.Location of the hotel was good though bahrain is a small country & we hired a car.Room was very very spacious with living space & basic kitchen utensils, refrigerator & oven.Service of the hotel was good & buffet breakfast was included in the rate.Though the breakfast items were almost same everyday with basic menu,it satisfied our needs.Parking space was sometimes hard to find as it was high season.Overall our experience was good with good sleeping, clean bathroom & breakfast.(only hair dryer didn';t work)

“Great rooms, nice hotel, out of the way location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2010

The best thing about this hotel was the free laundry machines and the spacious rooms. Each room is like its own apartment with a separate bedroom and living area. The rooms were nothing great but sufficient for the basic stay. Great location overlooking the water and the fitness center on the top floor was pretty cool too. The hotel's location was difficult to maneuver as it was only accessible from one side of the road. The pool is shaded half the day but in the summer when I went, that was a blessing! Other than that, it was a clean hotel.

“A good, solid choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

I stayed a few times at this good, solid choice of a hotel.
Check-in was always quick, the staff friendly, breakfast good with a mixture of eastern and western food. Rooms are clean & spacious. It is a ‘dry’ (no alcohol) – and therefore quiet Hotel. On the top floor are a gym, pool and sundeck. The pictures on some booking sites make the gym and rooftop pool appear gigantic but they aren’t. The gym is rather small, the pool of a good size but nothing like the photo suggests.
The Deluxe Room consisted of a bed, TV, table, two chairs and bathroom.
The Gold Suite contained additionally a big couch, Hifi and kitchenette. My favourite was the option with bedroom same as the Deluxe Room plus an additional small room with a door in between. That additional room contained two small couches and a 2nd TV. One entered the room through a tiny hallway and there was a cloakroom (as well as the bathroom).
The city is a max. 10 minutes taxi ride away, some of the malls are even closer.
