As someone that spends between 70-100 nights a year in a hotel ( 97% of those in Raddison group club carlton ) , I found the pricing way over the top . NO breakfast , no businesss lounge ..left feeling that the Raddison in BAH should take a long hard look at other group hotels who actually do delivery value for money and great service.

Nothing wrong with hotel or staff .....just management need to look at the packaging of the brand in BAH.

As my stay in this hotel goes on everyday it gets worst. I am on a business trip and is currently staying in this hotel for 45 days. The house keeping almost, always do a half job. Te toilet is dirty when I arrive from work, tub has not been wiped down, for the price I would expect better and quality service. The "Lady's Spa," that is suppose to be open until 10pm, always shut down at maybe 8pm. That is inconsiderate if people who work late and actually work out. At 9:30 after having to preheat the sauna myself they started doing contracting jobs to the ceiling. What happen to the 10pm. No privacy in the spa. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. As a matter of fact I have a colleague who has thought of this hotel, bad idea.

I am writing this review as I am currently staying at the Diplomat Raddison Blu Hotel.
I have been here for nearly a week, and I have to say I am so pleased and happy with everything.
The friendliness and professionalism of the staff is wonderful, most of them seem to come from the Philippines or India and they are very well trained and incredibly customer service oriented.
There are at least three different restaurants here in the hotel all of them very well priced and the food is excellent.
I am a vegetarian and they have dealt with my strange requests in a wonderful way.
The average price for a main meal in the hotel restaurant is about 4 Bahraini Dinars, which is approximately £8 pounds.

The hotel itself is only 10 minutes by taxi from the airport and is within very easy striking distance of all the main sites and shopping mlls within Bahrain.
My room is on the eighth floor and is huge, with a king-size bed and a lovely study area and a magnificent bathroom.
There is free very fast WiFi in all of the bedrooms and reception areas.
there is also a fantastic gymnasium and spa complex with everything you could wish for, all free for guests, with the exception of the massages which are reasonably priced
All in all I am delighted with this hotel

We spent two nights at The Diplomat. The lobby, restaurants, and bars are wonderful. The Friday brunch is amazing and definitely worth the high price. It is supposed to be a 5 star hotel so we were expecting nicer rooms. The rooms were nicely sized but decorated in a hideously tacky way. The bed was lumpy. The gym and spa area were beautiful and well-equipped. Decent place and price if you just need a place to sleep.
