Rooms: stayed in a 2 bed single room with one bathroom. Beds were standard size and not queen, so space was limited for two adults in one bed. Spacious interior, fresh paint and new furniture, satellite tv. Bathroom is big with separate shower and tub. downside: Nescafe coffee and no tea bags
Food: breakfast was included with my room. Better than average, but not as good as standard 4 or 5 star hotel breakfast buffet.
Staff: friendly and helpful. Front desk english is spotty, but their cabability is standard for the level of hotel this is.
Entertainment: no pool, but not an issue in the winter anyways as most pools in Juffair area are rooftop and not heated. Their is a bar (Kicks) on the 7th floor, so if you are not into partying , get a room on a floor as far away as possible so you dont get the bass beat vibrations.
Parking: parking is inside the building on the first 5 or 6 floors, so you dont have to worry about vandalism (although not a problem anyways from what Ive been told). Parking is free and there is a guard at the front entrance (all the time).
Kids: while not a family hotel, as it offers no playground, pool, my kids enjoyed their stay. Anyways, this was a place to sleep and not spend leisure time.

If you are looking for a cheaper hotel with fairly decent sleep, this is great. Service was good and helpful. In a newer (land-fill) area of Bahrain, there is not much close and no taxi stands nearby.

Rooms are simple, but the walls (and floors) are very thin...you hear everything next door and for two floors (I was two floors above the bar and could hear it all evening).

Breakfast is served in the room package and is a great selection.

I have stayed in Bahrain a few times over the years and I will say this is the nicest hotel yet. Very new, clean, with large rooms and comfy pillows. But, it is let down by the same thing that lets down every hotel I've stayed in here and that is the bar /disco that you can here every night, all night no matter what floor you are on. I don't know about you, but I generally book a hotel to sleep in, not dance. The hotel is very nice, and if they turned down the rubbish base that kept me awake then I would stay here again, but alas I doubt they will, so in a dragons den style... I'm out.

Stayed here for a few days over NYE 2012. Checked in and was given an upgrade to a suite which was of course very nice. The room was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing. The food on the room service menu was good as was the food in the pub. The most amazing part of this hotel though is the roof. When it is finished (April or May 2012) it will a great place to relax. I was very impressed with this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
