I had chosen Ewa as it was a brand new hotel and the price was not very high.
Our first impression when we arrived at the hotel was already bad. The lobby is very small. There was another guest complaining to the recepcionist because his room was not clean. It took time until we were checked-in as only 1 staff.
Our first impression of the room was not bad. The room was big, too big. The bathroom was also big. There was a kettle, but guess what! The cable was very short and I had to switch it on putting the kettle directly on the floor. When the kettle was on the bed the cable was hanging as it could not be connected to the plug.
The bed was VERY uncomfortable. The worst bed I have ever slept on!! That ruined my night, but the worst was to come. When we had made the booking directly through the hotels website, it clearly said breakfast was included. Next morning, we went to the lobby and asked for breakfast. The breakfast lounge was not yet ready!! Somebody gave us a lunch pack with a boiled egg and some crackers and a horrible juice. We were going to stay for 3 nights but we checked-out and went to Sommerset.
It was the worst experience ever in a hotel.

Rooms were ok, but internet didn't work, breakfast was a bit of a joke, and customer service was virtually non-existant

On a limited budget of about 4120 a night, and here for a week, I wanted a quiete place with comfortable bed. Having tried some of the hotels in Bahrain,in the 3/4* cat, I wanted to get away from the Chinese girls and the constantly loud music at night and hoped for a peaceful night's rest.

Good Location near supermarket and mall. Great views. New building. Place looks like its been furnished by Ikea. at first glace everything looks pleasant.As we we all do hotels, opened the curtains for the view, nice. Jumped on the bed and felt the springs prod into my back. Not nice.the bed had no padding. Upon closer inspection, thge padding on the spring was less than 1cm!! Asked to change rooms, but found all beds the same.Eventually had them put 3 duvets uner the bedsheets to give a slight degree of comfort.after a bad night of sleep, woke up with back pain.

The shower, although new, just dripped and at first, spewed black oil-like stuff. Eugh!! Oh and breakfast(@ $10 extra), consists of an orange-0like drink, an omelet with curried potatoes. No tea/ coffee. There is a kettle, and instant coffee/tea in the room.
Although booked for a week, I checked out the nest day.
My advice is if you value sleep then look elsewhere.
