First of all let me say that for me it was either this hotel (which was $100/night or a $270/night hotel) and that I WOULD stay there again just because of the rate however I would do the following as soon as I check in: Check everything in the room, from the bed sheets to the bath room. Make sure it works and the water pressure is good. My bed sheets were dirty and after letting the ppl know about it they changed them in to more dirtier sheets! On my last say I would not take a shower because the water had sand in it and there was no water pressure to even wash hands. There were only 7 occupied rooms, hotel was not busy at all so I did not understand why the service was so bad. BTW the hotel is old and I am surprised that it is an Intercon Hotel it is more like a motel 6 with the drugs. Food was good.
I will recommend only because of the price and as I said my suggestion is to check everything as soon as you check in. A normal taxi is around 40riyals to the Haram.

The hotel was quiet and nice. Breakfast was about average. Enough Parking spots. It was spacious. The hotel is old but fine overall. The only bad thing about it is that it far away from Haram and city center. However, they provide Bus transportation to Haram 5 times a day (Prayer Times).
