“Not-so bad an Inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 June 2011

We stayed here fork one night and found the hotel very quickly as it is bang in the centre of Madabas quiet yet quaint town. The city serves 70000 people and the hotel caters for your run of the mill standard decent clean accommodation for a short stay. The staff are friendly and speak English and the rooms are tidy, have a mini fridge, good air con and a lovely view of the city. The furniture is dark wood and not so modern however the samsung TVs give the place a sense of modern living. The Internet is wifi and free however we were unable to connect to the signal which was dissapointing. Overall a decent place to stay at 55JOD a night with twin beds, it's the place to stay along your travels

“A hotel to go back to”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 May 2011

We spent our first two nights after arriving in Jordan in this Hotel. The reception staff was friendly and we had a great stay. We enjoyed it so much that we spent our last two nights here as well. Staff that will go the extra mile for you.

“No heat ...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2011

Hotel was clean enough but there was no heat in the hotel lobby nor our room which doomed our stay. Asked the staff to help with this and they tried ... the room heater turned on but wouldn't stay on. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi did not work except in the lobby and even then it was flaky at best. Breakfast was horrible also--blandest bread ever.

“Too expensive for the offer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2010

This hotel is a 3*, but offer less then the2* hotels in the city . It was more expensive then the others and don't offer same kind staff. I quoted a transport to the airport and it would be more then double then offered in other hotels, when I asked the reason, the answer was the driver ask for the amount. In the entrance is mentioning the main credit card companies, but when I tried to pay in credit card the answer was the machine was broken.Internet only in the recepcion. The other 2 hotels I stayed I didn't had an problem like this one. I don't recomend it..

“Horrible dirty hotel. Do not stay there.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2010

Our On the Go Tour arrived late at Madaba Inn Hotel, just across the road from the famous church w. mosaics. Hotel was very dirty, i.e chunks of dirt on the floor when we got off the elevator. Bed looked like someone had just crawled out of it. Was so tired, didn't think to check it. Was attacked by bed bugs in the night. In the morning checked the bed and found a fairly large dead black bug and chunks of dirt at the end of the sheets, which was not from me. Absolutely disgusting. CHECK YOUR TOUR AND CONFIRM WHERE YOU ARE STAYING IF YOU GO TO MADABA. I don't know if there are any better hotels. Really not much to go there for except the incredible mosaics. We never saw the mosaics as our tour got there so late at night and we had to leave early next morning.
