We were charged US$90 for a double room at a downmarket location (near the bus station for the airport bus). There are two entrances to the hotel and the one opposite the bus station opened to a rather shabby neighbourhood. We took a stroll towards downtown as we had to look for the Egypt Air Office and the walk was not pleasant, nothing to see but old tacky shops.
Free Wifi was only available in the lobby area. As smoking was permitted in the lobby, it may not be the most pleasant environment. However, breakfast was good. The room was nicely furnished though a little dark. Staff were professional though not always warm and friendly.
Hints: renting a car was relatively inexpensive in Amman. We compared a few companies including the hotel, Budget, Hertz (free local calls with phone at lobby counter). We decided to use Reliable Car Rentall (592 9676) as the drop-off at the airport is free. The car (JD35 per day, unlimited mileage) was a very new automatic Hyudai delivered to the hotel. No hassles.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write. We are glad you had a good stay. Although it is our priority to provide excellent value for money, it seems that we missed a step or two to make you feel that way. This will be discussed in the next staff meeting and share insight to make future guests feel that they received the service that they expect.
