“Beautiful rooms & great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

This is a really lovely hotel. We got upgraded to a suite by the incredibly friendly reception staff and the room was really, really lovely.
It was beautiful and clean with complimentary chocolates and water.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast buffet is superb.
The only thing to mention is that the TV only has 2 UK channels and our hairdryer didnt work but that is the only complaint we would have, It was a great stay for a great price and the staff are very very friendly.

Room Tip: Be a bit cheeky and ask for an upgrade.. just in case!

Thank you for taking the time to write. Well, you are our lovely guest also :-) . We will be installing a new satellite network in the next few weeks that would give our guests more viewing choices. As for the hairdryer, there is a little on/off switch on the side that many guest are overlooking and which we will mark to make more visible. Once again, thank you for taking the time to write.

“A little over price for what you get.”

We came here in the winter time and paid $100US/Night for a suite. A little over price for what you get. The bathroom needs needs work and was a little dirty.

The breakfast was pretty good with a choice of European and Jordanian options.

There is Free internet in the lobby and in the restaurant area, You'll have to pay if you want it in your room.

Whatever you do, don't book any tours with the hotel! All you'll get is a driver. You'll will have to pay for your own entry fees, guides and your own food!

**Cough, Cough!**

Hello, We will go over each procedure in the hotel to make sure future guests are well catered to and feel comfortable with the pricing. Although, the rate for the suite is above $100, we are sorry that you still felt that it is over priced. As for the tours reserved via the frontdesk, the main purpose of this service is to avoid any taxis or drivers taking advantage of our guests, to drive safely, speak the English language, see as much as possible in the time assigned to each tour, and assist you any way they can. We certainely hope to be of service again in the future.

“OK but a little pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

We were charged US$90 for a double room at a downmarket location (near the bus station for the airport bus). There are two entrances to the hotel and the one opposite the bus station opened to a rather shabby neighbourhood. We took a stroll towards downtown as we had to look for the Egypt Air Office and the walk was not pleasant, nothing to see but old tacky shops.

Free Wifi was only available in the lobby area. As smoking was permitted in the lobby, it may not be the most pleasant environment. However, breakfast was good. The room was nicely furnished though a little dark. Staff were professional though not always warm and friendly.

Hints: renting a car was relatively inexpensive in Amman. We compared a few companies including the hotel, Budget, Hertz (free local calls with phone at lobby counter). We decided to use Reliable Car Rentall (592 9676) as the drop-off at the airport is free. The car (JD35 per day, unlimited mileage) was a very new automatic Hyudai delivered to the hotel. No hassles.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write. We are glad you had a good stay. Although it is our priority to provide excellent value for money, it seems that we missed a step or two to make you feel that way. This will be discussed in the next staff meeting and share insight to make future guests feel that they received the service that they expect.

“Good location and nice staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

20 yr old male travelling with mum
Nice friendly staff that offered us a juice upon arrival.
Rooms were clean and decently sized with a decent view of the King Abdullah mosque and the church opposite.
Breakfast was good...dinner a little disappointing.
Easy to get a cab in and out of the area (get change for this though)!
Interesting thing about this hotel is that it's built into a hill so the main entrance and reception area is actually on the top floor and the rooms are below!

We stayed at the Toledo Hotel during October 2011. We had a very good experience. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Good breakfast spread and location is near to a shopping district. However its a distance from downtown.Supper was a buffet 3 course meal which was inexpensive.
