Spent 5 nights here in November and was comfortable in the spacious and warm room. Furniture is a little dated but the room was pleasant nonetheless. Public areas are modern, and food in the main restaurant good quality and plentiful.

Service was helpful and friendly. No complaints, and the central location means the hotel can therefore be counted as a good option for the price.

Spacious rooms are let down by an antiquated central air conditioning/heating system. No individual controls means the whole hotel is at the mercy of whatever heat setting the hotel chooses it to be. And it was hot in the room, too hot for comfortable sleep in the cold winter of Amman!
Going into the room after check-in, the bathtub had hair around the edges, and one of the bathrobes had hair very clearly sticking out of the cotton yarns. The bathroom is let by 2 ceiling mounted fluorescent bulbs, that's it. No vanity mirror, no other lights to make shaving, putting on makeup, etc easier.
The heat and the bathroom lose this property 2 stars. Too bad, because the staff are polite, efficient and helpful.

The Landmark was a delight in beeing comfortable, clean, and tidy. Very close to down town Amman, for shopping, restuarants, the Citadel and Roman Ampitheatre. Staff were curteous, helpful and very well presented. Would not hesitate to go back there again.

Efficient and friendly front desk, clean public space, beautiful dining room for breakfast and dinner. rooms are large, clean, and still have that old world personality.
