“Renovated rooms are good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2011

The renovations of this hotel are good. Our room on the 4th floor was really beautifully done. Small but ultra modern is how I would describe it. Good location right on the promenade. Don't eat anything from the lounge coffee bar - I did and it was truly revolting with soured cream and black mould all over the underneath! Otherwise ok for an overnight stay.

Room Tip: Ask for one of their recently renovated rooms

“A complete waist of $300 a night!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

I don't feel like describing this place. Let me just outline it's major disadvantages.
- an old scrappy building in need of renovation
- too expensive
- poor service
- shabby parking (and not free)
- rather poor breakfast
- the front desk blocked $300 on my credit card while I was checking-in, and I still can't get hold of my money, even though it's been more than a week.
The only good thing is the location right on the beach. And luckily the wi-fi was free, which is hard to come across in Israel.
Such an accommodation would do for $50 a night, but not for $300. Better to be avoided.

“Pros: Location / Cons: All the rest”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

The hotel is at a great location in Tel Aviv in front of the beach, it is the only thing great about it because the whole place seems to be abandoned. A lot of maintenance is needed in the building, the furniture looks old and cleanliness is definitly not a priority for them.

“Beautiful view of the marina, centrally located.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011 via mobile

The first floors weren't clean, so we moved to the fifth floor which was better. The breakfast was nice and the service was ok. The best thing about this hotel is its location right on Tel Avivs' promenade which is near the city center.

“Value of the marina”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

the hotel was on the front - rooms were smart but small - the pool area would be fantastic for young people as there was loud music - great view from the pool - outside as you arrive was tired and scruffy but a great central position - great value for money worth $140
Breakfast was fine - typical israel breakfast -
Staff were lovely

Room Tip: 5th floor overlooking the beach - near the pool - quite 504 is a nice suite 532 is a normal but...
