As a student looking to stay in a reasonably affordable hotel near to the beach, Hotel Maxim could not have been any better. Located just one crossed-road away from the beach, just behind the main strip of huge, ugly on the outside/luxurious on the inside hotels, staying in this hotel felt like a bit of a steal!

The hotel is clean, with friendly staff, included israeli breakfast, free access to hotel computers and even boasts a private roof terrace complete with umbrellas, deck chairs, and panoramic views of Tel Aviv! The rooms, whilst small are comfortable (not for you though if you're used to spacious rooms with balconies) and the staff for the most-part are particularly friendly/helpful. This is not a 5-star hotel, but I definitely felt satisfied that for £50 a night each in a twin room, I'm not sure it gets any better by the beach in Tel Aviv.

I really enjoyed this hotel, mainly due to its great location and close proximity to the beach. The lobby was lovely as were the rooms as the decor was very nice. The sundeck on the roof was a great place to watch the sun go down as well. The staff were very helpful with check in and with arranging cabs to the airport. The only downside was the size of the rooms. We had booked a triple room and for 3 people the room was extremely small. We could't have our luggage open all at the same time. Other than that though, great little hotel in a wonderful location!

This small hotel has exactly what you need for a holiday in tel aviv. It is small, clean, quite, affordable and has premium location. Staff are really nice, helped us with anything we asked for including very late check out on Fri! Very good breakfast with clean renovated rooms and free Internet access

Room tip: Fifthn floor rooms 506 etc have sea view.

Not expensive but enough comfortable and friendly looking design hotel very close to seaside and other places of interest, with beautiful sundeck, multilanguage and gentle stuf. Some disadvantages: unstable Wi-Fi, small rooms, sundeck is open only till 20.00

I was staying in the hotel back to June 2010, please bear in mind maybe what I am going to write is not very updated.

In general it was a lovely stay , hotel itself very close to the beach, just cross the road around 5 minutes walk . I didn't have breakfast or meal in the hotel so wouldn't make commet on that.

The sigle room is quite small to be honest, the air con is bit noisey in the evening. It would be a little humid if you turned it off,

Hotel staff were helpful, I bought some water and fruits in the market and asked one of the staff in the kitchen if I coould put them in the fridge because tehre was no one in the room. He was quite happy to do that for me it was really helpful you could get ice cold water on the way out to the city. You can get tower from the reception when you go to the beach.

Few restaurants just around the corner as well as US embassy. There is a corner shop just outside the hotel. You can get essential daily stuff from there. I will definately go back to stay there in the future.
