We have stayed at the Alexander before and it was great. This time was even better as it has been renovated to include a fantastic rooftop terrace and magnificent breakfast room which was very very stylish. It also in the best position right across the road from the beach and a short walk to the revamped Namal docks where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. Its also very quiet. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a sea view and it was awesome. The rooms are very stylish. The finishes are not the best on earth and its not exactly the Four Seasons, but its more than sufficient, especially in Tel Aviv where prices of hotels can be very high for very dated decor and poor surroundings. This is my first choice for a stay in Tel Aviv. The staff are so obliging. They are also very very kid friendly. The breakfast was lovely and more than adequate with very nice coffee. The only down side is there is no pool, but with the beach across the road, its pretty easy to sneak in a swim. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Was a little worried because there were some bad reviews, but now realize they were probably written pre the renovation and expansion. The hotel is a great boutique hotel and the abundant Israeli breakfast can be eaten on the comfortable terrace with a marvelous view of Tel Aviv. Just across the street from the beach and a short walk to the gentrified Tel Aviv port. A pool and spa will be added. The fact that it is a suite hotel is a big bonus. Also the staff was very responsive to our requests.

We moved here from the Hilton for a week to stay with friends, so my perspective is a little skewed. The hotel is okay. Breakfasts are wonderful at the open air restaurant, you can order omelets, shakshuka, etc. The rool is nice, the main downfall is the walls are thin and we heard kids screaming in the room next door. However, we turned the A/C on high and it drowned out most of the noise. The kitchenette was nice, we were able to reheat food. This hotel is good for families, especially with kids. Having a living room and kitchenette was a great plus!
