“Don't hesitate to book this one”

I am a jazz pianist and I played in Tel Aviv and Haifa last week. This was our first trip to Israel and my wife and I simply had to trust the promoter to make a good choice knowing we had to live there for 5 days. He did. It's likely that we'll come back to Tel Aviv and I'll definitely request a room at the Melody again. The breakfast was varied and very good every day. The staff was helpful and dealt with requests like ironing shirts before concerts as if they were routine. Everyone was friendly and spoke good English. To top it all off, there is a Happy Hour during the week. If you choose to mingle with other guests, they tend to be interesting, international types.

Room Tip: The higher you go, the quieter it will be - or ask for a back room if a sea view isn't important...

“Great place for a weekend”

Although I live in Israel, we wanted a Tel Aviv get away and the reviews online pointed us to the Melody Hotel. The reviews were completely correct.
The hotel is well located in Northern Tel Aviv, across the street from the Tel Aviv Hilton, and accessible to everything. We walked everywhere, including on an amazing morning walk across Independence Park and down along the Tayelet/Promenade to the Tel Aviv Port.
Breakfast on Saturday morning was perfect. No hot cooked items due to Shabbat, but a nice selection of salads, rolls, cheeses, fish, and somehow the baked items did not seem dried out and old like they frequently do at hotels on Saturday morning.
Our room was “cozy”(i.e. small) and a bit tight for three people, but everything was clean and in good taste, with great bathroom amenities and a nice sized TV with a DVD player and a wide selection of movies to borrow from the Front Desk.
And speaking of the Front Desk, like with any business, a hotel’s success can frequently be made or broken based on the staff, and here I have to say the Melody really shines. Starting with the absolutely amazing Yaron at the Front Desk (who seemed to work the world’s longest shift), the guy who came to fix our remote, and the nice woman Hanni in the breakfast room, EVERYONE was pleasant, helpful and very professional.
Nice job General Manager Galit Ilan. You have a wonderful property.

“Great spot in Tel Aviv”

Everything we needed for our visit: close to beach, close to shopping, easy to find for someone driving unfamiliar roads, free wi-fi, free breakfast, beautiful roof-top deck (which we would have taken advantage of later if it were summer), happy hour, clean and comfortable room, friendly people. Lots of extras like fitness packages for runners/joggers, weights on each floor, free DVDs, board games during happy hour, and delicious happy-hour snacks.

Note to drivers: the parking garage is not huge--there is space for about six cars only--and it takes some manoevering to get out if you park in the first bay like I did.

“Small, friendly, trendy hotel with great location”

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly, helpful staff. Very good breakfast and late afternoon drinks/snacks. Great if you need computer/internet access - two computers available in lobby. Rooms are small, for sure. I thought ours was small (although ok for two), but I was told other rooms were even smaller. Everything was clean and comfortable. Right across street from park and beaches. I would stay there again, for sure.

Room Tip: Ours faced east, so no view of the sea but I wonder if it was quieter because we weren't right o...

Thank you for recognizing our amazing staff we are so happy to hear you enjoyed yourself while you stayed at the Melody Hotel. Besides the two computers we also have two laptops and an Ipad available for guests to use (just ask the front desk). Did you get a chance to walk through Independence Park? It has a beautiful view of the Sea. If not you must take a stroll on your next visit.
