We stayed three nights at the Cinema Hotel over the New Year weekend, and it was perfect. Our room was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast buffet superb, the location (at the edge of Dizengoff circle) great for strolling everywhere, the staff (particularly one of the receptionists, Ido) was helpful and informative.... and it felt like a haven in the bustle of Tel Aviv. The only drawback was that it was hard to find using the the Budget Car-Rental map, since many of the streets are one-way (which is not shown on the map)-- a GPS would have helped! The beach, the newly re-done port, the old city of Jaffa, and a thousand cafés and restaurants are all within comfortable walking distance. You have the feeling of being in a small hotel of considerable character, rather than in some anonymous chain hotel, which definitely adds a special dimension to the trip.

Thank you for your positive feedback about your stay at the Cinema Hotel. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed yourself in Tel Aviv and at our Hotel. Yes, driving in Tel Aviv can be a pain if it's your first time here (many streets are one way so it's not easy). Next time I would request a GPS with your rental car to avoid any hassle. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to Tel Aviv.
