“Mediterranean Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stayed here Aug 2011 on a business trip and was able to get a room overlooking the Mediterranean. Very large and comfortable rooms, good beds and clean.

Hotel service was courteous and breakfast reasonable. Excellent location to Tel Aviv downtown and boardwalk, exceptional restaurants and yes...the beach. The beach here is incredible, take your pick as your are walking distance to about 5 ams of sandy beaches in bathtub warm water.

If you're a jogger, the boardwalk stretches approx 5 kms to Jaffa and about the same northwards. The hotel rents bikes which I used for the day to cruise his area, jump in the sea for a swim, stop for a beer. Fantastic and you can't go wrong staying here.

Room Tip: Room with a View

“The best stay in Tel Aviv!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I come to Israel a few times a year and I have tried many different hotels. Last two years i always stay in Carlton Tel Aviv, which becomes more and more attractive each time. Great downtown location on the sea shore, wonderful view to the endless beaches and charming lagoon, - very romantic indeed. Rooms are very cosy, comfortable and clean, toiletries of a high quality which is not very often to be found in other hotels. Since i travel for business mostly I do care about the business facilities. The business lounge of the hotel is very convinient, the services there are perfect. A special feature is Carlton on the beach - a special place for breakfast in summer time and various entertaiments in the evening. This time have heard about the new SPA which is going to opened shortly - looking forward to try it, althoug the old one is relaxing too. I can highly reccomend this hotel for both - business and leasure.

“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Been in and out of this hotel several times in the last 6 month.
Good Hotel. Rooms are in general very good and they are in the process of renewing and modernizing them. True some of them can be bit small. Location is great. Nice restaurants close by.
Breakfast is good and good selection( kosher as all hotels, so no meat)and location is good overseeing the beach(at present, due to weather, unfortunately inside the hotel).
Staff in general very good and helpful. Price might seems high, but is probably the lowest in the beach area.
Wifi available in the rooms, but unfortunately have to pay for it, but this is a problem with a lot of hotels around the world, unfortunately.

“Two star service for five star price”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

Before I begin my rant, let's talk about position. The location is great...overlooking the sea and close to shops and restaurant. The brunch is pretty good with lots of selection.

Now for the negatives...where do i begin? Rooms are small, especially when I'm paying for over $200 (US) a night. I don't think exchange rates is the problem. Amenities are motel 6 quality. At least motel 6 provides a blow dryer and iron in every room and heat their pool. The service left something to be desired. Door service are not helpful. I ask for a cab to pick me up at 3AM to catch a morning flight and they don't call a cab until 3. Maybe they didn't understand English? Brunch closes at 11. If you don't leave by then, the staff will give you stink eye. They forget to place soap in the room. When I called to request soap, they say they will send somebody but then forget.

It's hard to believe that anyone would give this hotel a high rating unless of course it's written by hotel staffer. I wouldn't put it pass them to do it.

“A Wonderful Experience In A Wonderful City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

The hotel was located right on the beach. Our double room was very spacious with plenty of closet space and a very large bathroom. True we faced the city, but we were never in the room for much time. The breakfast was outstanding each morning. The room overlooked the beach and you could relax looking the blue water. Yossi Navi (The Food & Beverage manager) has a quality staff helping him. Liraz Cohen & Hunna did everything they could to make sure that our dinning experience each day left nothing to be desired. I would certainly recomend this hotel to friends and family/.

Room Tip: We were on the 14th floor which is one of their "special" floors. Try for that floor, but...
