This hotel is very fine, it is a pretty standard 4 star business hotel. It is very large and a little impersonal. The night reception staff a little frosty (at least ours was) and the security staff a bit scruffy and inquisitive, although I understand the security problems they face. I must say the room we were upgraded to was very nice and well laid out, with a superb view. You cannot fault the breakfast, it is sumptuous and very generous. You need to respect and understand the Shabbat laws, as these are applied to all guests with regards to the menus in room and in the restaurant. This is a little confusing, for example, on Saturday morning you can have tea, but not coffee or hot chocolate. The food we tried was above par in the other restaurants too. As with any Israeli hotel, avoid going when there is a wedding party on. This is because when Israelis book a hotel for a wedding party, they tend to be very large and some of the guests and hosts believe they own the hotel on this day and it can be hard to get service from the staff. They do also hog the breakfast buffet and pool! We were also upgraded to the 'Intercontinental Club' floor (which means a slightly better room and way better view) but for some reason on this trip, we were not allowed access to the 'Club Lounge' on the same floor, which seems petty, so had to use the lounge on the reception floor. I have pointed out the faults, but they are pretty minor niggles really. Overall, the hotel is luxurious and clean. Some of the bathrooms need updating and have cracked marble. My Wifi was free, but I think this was part of my Amex package deal. Irrespective, wireless internet should be available and free in every hotel nowadays. It is like running water in my opinion, a necessity.
Room Tip: Try to get a 'Club' floor room
